Why You Should Choose To Go Shopping Abroad

How many times have you been to your local shopping centre and how many times when you’ve been there have you encountered something brand new or exciting? Generally what we seem to find is that shoppers are bored of the shops they go to, they need change, they need to be amazed.

Well Moveover, we find the perfect locations designed to inspire those who want to find the newest most modern fashion.

Rome…

Rome’s popularity is ever-growing throughout. There are many aspects about this city which make it an ideal place to visit. You have the landmarks, the weather, the food, and the people. But, what is more, is that there are shopping centres galore!

Imagine being just a few short miles from a coliseum during your shopping trip. The weather is ideal for you to show off your summer clothes and the tan you’ve been after for month. All in all, this is a perfect location for anyone who enjoys a good shopping trip. With all the shops you might desire, there is also a multitude of other activities you might be interested in.

Dubai…

Dubai is known for the speed in which everything works. The way the city is run on a 24hour schedule permanently, how the people work, even right down to the quality of the hotels and restaurants. This city is lit up beautifully at night and throughout the day the aesthetics take a more relaxed look, but manage to maintain a more natural beauty.

On top of this, the city is home to one of the most renowned shopping malls. So why wouldn’t you choose to shop here? The quick tempos in which things are done are reflected upon the shops too, with the latest fashion you could wish for always being an aspect of the fantastic location.

Athens…

Greece has possibly some of the most interesting history that this world has to offer. With Plato and Aristotle (the world’s first thinkers/ philosophers) being home-grown in Greece; it is clear this place does not conform to the norm and is an incredibly intelligent location.

As you might expect the city takes this forward-thinking motive on board when it comes to shopping; the clothes are always something you might have never seen before. It is this way for a reason; fashion arrives here first, as it is important to maintain the next hype before the hype has officially begun. Moreover, this city is yet again another beautiful place home to amazing spectacles and landmarks.

You've Gotta’ Goa India

Surrounded by the Arabian Sea and the shady palms that sway in the wind. The relaxed pace of life in Goa has always made it a great introduction to India. Goa has a very different feel from the rest of India. It has remained a Portuguese colony until the 1960s.

Now the decision comes down to where you want to go in Goa, North or South. the North is where it all happens, you will find a range of clubs and pubs. It’s the hot and happening place of now! North Goa is suitable for singles, couples and diverse groups who are looking to enjoy the nightlife and the party scene. You also have Exquisite churches and cathedrals, local bazaar and weekly flea markets.

Apart from the beaches, North Goa is also home to some of the most ambitious restaurants in India, including Burmese, Turkish, Italian and French establishments – but there’s always recourse to the inevitable steak and kidney pie and mushy peas beloved by the Brits who still outnumber all other foreign visitors by a tidy margin.

Attractions in North Goa are not just confined to the coast, they run all the way to the hill hugging cashew plantations that blanket much of Pernem Taluka. The market that is Mapusa is known for its colours and noisy riots in the heart of Bardez district. Then you come across the hidden hindu temples of Ponda.

South Goa is known for it's peace, greenery, village-like atmosphere and its luxury hotels. If you're a couple on your honeymoon, family based holiday or even an elderly couple looking to relax and unwind. South Goa is sure to delight you. If you are an animal lover, you can visit the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, and go on a dolphin-sighting day trip. south Goa is where you will also find some of the pristine and secluded beaches.

With Goa’s beaches being the state’s main attraction, perhaps it comes down to: do you like beautiful sun-drenched beaches with lots of life (the North), or beautiful sun-drenched beaches that are a little quieter (the South)?

Dubai The Winter Getaway

Dubai History

In 3000 bc the area was inhabited by nomadic cattle herders. Then in the 3rd century AD the area came under the control of Sassanid Empire which is said to have lasted until the 7th century. That's when Umayyad Caliphate took control and Islam was introduced into the area. In 1799 the first records were created of the town being made. In around 1833 Dubai became a separate society. They were used to be sustained by fishing and pearl diving, but around 1929 the international pearl market collapsed which made way for the discovery of oil in 1966. This in turn helped change the country beyond recognition and led it to be the vibrant, modern and business-centered city it is today.

Cool Down With A Beer

The dusty, hot and energetic, Nairobi is made for cold beers in your hand. Happily the city is known for its cold beers. The local beer brews is Tusker. If you're a fashionable drinker, you have

the chance to see what you’re made of at Casablanca, a Moroccan themed bar. The beer's slogan "Bia yangu, Nchi yangu" means, "My beer, My country" in Swahili. It was founded in 1922 as a private limited company. The first bottle was brewed on 15th December 1922. The name "Tusker" was given by Charles in the memory of his brother George Hurst the companies founder. He was killed in a elephant hunting accident.

Coffee Crazy

Coffee is not, as some come to believe, from Java, Italy or even Seattle. To your surprise its from Africa - Ethiopia. For a great cup of the original joe, just ignore the Indonesian given name and head in the direction of the Nairobi Java House, known as one of the best coffee chains on the continent. Then try the nutty Kenyan AA blend, and while you're at it why not pick up a few beans for the journey back home. For those coffee lovers, you will be glad to know that there is an outlet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - which is a good thing for those early morning flights.

Take A Seat!

Drivers of Africa's minibuses which are called "Matatus" like to pimp their rides, from fluorescent lighting and fat wheels, which are fashionable when travelling from Cape Town to Cairo. However Nairobi drivers outdo any on the continent, with TV screen in the cabin to having huge sound systems installed, and exteriors painted with famous portraits to slogans or saying. So climb on and grab your seats and see how the driver races through the city traffic. It’s a seperate subculture all on its own, entry cost is just a few cents.
