Why Choose Turkey As Your Holiday Destination?

When deciding on somewhere to live it can be very difficult to choose somewhere that you’re sure of. After all, how can you be sure on something if you haven’t yet experienced it? However, there’s a first time for everything and perhaps this is one…Turkey undoubtedly has almost everything anyone could want from a holiday…

There are many reasons why this country shouldn’t be thought of with any misconception of it being a place which has its faults or will only suit a particular kind of person. This is most definitely not the case. In fact, Turkey has something for everyone and one thing this place guarantees is that you’ll be more than sure it is ideal for you once you’re there.

Culture, Traditions & Religion…

Culture is so often the one element of a holiday that can determine whether you really do enjoy yourself or not. After all, culture determines what the place is used to and how everything happens there. Following traditions Turkey is a very religious country and from this only comes positivity; religion followed properly, of any form, should always result in treating the people around you the best possible way, this is certainly the case with Turkish religious motives.

Turkey is influenced by various different kinds of civilisations which established themselves over a period of around 11 thousand years. Thanks to this, it means there really is a very open minded approach to anything throughout turkey and you’ll be more than made welcome during your visit.

Sunshine, accommodation & the beaches…

Accommodation is probably the most important part of any holiday. The best thing about the accommodation in Turkey is the fact that there is so much to choose from. Whether you’d prefer somewhere with a huge pool with slides and many other activities perfect for children; or somewhere more romantic with beautiful aesthetics, Turkey will have them both. The only thing that remains the same throughout is the quality displayed through the accommodation.

As expected for most holidays, especially family holidays, the beach is a must. It is something anyone can enjoy, even if you don’t particularly like sand or the sea. Whilst that might not make sense, if you enjoy sunbathing or relaxing for a few hours of the day, then there is no better place to do it than on the beach sun bed.

On the other hand, for those who enjoy the sea to its full potential;  why not go for a swim? The waters are always safe and can sometimes even be a pleasant temperature too. The sands usually consist of a smooth texture and a white look.  On top of this, the weather compliments all of the above perfectly. The heats in Turkey can reach scorching heights, and whilst they are extremely high, you’ll always be in an ideal place to enjoy and relax.

The people, food & travel to and from…

As touched on previously; the locals are extremely welcoming. This is something that is purely instinctive due to the variety of kinds of people who live in Turkey. Should you have blue eyes, it will be considered you’re a lucky person and may even be treated to something simply because of this. However, of course if you do not have blue eyes this doesn’t mean you should be hasty with your decision into whether you want to visit or not.

Tourists are always met with open arms and it is something that should be replicated in every country around the world. It is hard to really put it down to one thing or even explain where the kindness comes from; the best way to learn about this is to visit.

It is easy to just tell you about the food and explain that it is extremely tasty. In most cases this would be something that just occurs purely to tease you in, but in this case it really is true. The restaurants throughout Turkey are extremely popular and deservedly so. The best service of all comes from Turkey; the kindness of the locals is expertly reflected through the service offered.

Sometimes travelling to and from a holiday is the stressful part. But, even this is covered should you decide to have a holiday in Turkey. There are many airports throughout Turkey; this means that flight times are extremely flexible; so there is no real worry or stress during the travelling period.

Tunisia boasts some of the World’s Greatest Sites

We all have the same questions at the forefront of our mind when deciding where to go on holiday. Where is different? What will actually be there that wouldn’t be elsewhere, what is there to do throughout the day to make the holiday special, and what memories can be made there that couldn’t be made somewhere else?

We have picked out the best location to answer all of those needs for you, Tunisia. It is for certain with Tunisia that everything you do and see there will be completely unique to anywhere else.

You might be wondering how on earth this is possible; surely not all the things you see are completely different to anywhere else? Well this should help to explain why this is so; if you wish to find out what makes this place so different then please read on.

Bardo Museum…

Been to a museum before? Bored of the seeing the same things in them? Well the Bardo Museum isn’t just any museum; there’s much more to it than that. The building itself could be found in a museum, the atmosphere created from the traditional beauty of the architecture is worth experiencing on its own.

This museum is known worldwide now, and deservedly so. International reputation is only achieved through earning it, and that is just what’s happened here. There are some of the most beautiful mosaics shown throughout along with numerous historic sculptures. All in all, this makes for a spectacular place to visit and is considered something you MUST do when visiting Tunisia.

Dougga & The El Djem…

If you were looking for somewhere to see that would make a good addition to your camera collection then this is definitely the place for you. This site which is presumed to have once been a theatre is understood to have been around as early as 168 AD.

The El Djem is probably the most favourable of tours in Tunisia, it’s the one that always manages to find itself in the holiday brochures, and with this being one of the best preserved historic building around the reputation is has gained is well deserved.  You are able to walk up to as high as the third tier, whilst also being able to venture into the underground and get a real feel for how things might have been on.

With this said, these are two of Tunisia’s proudest attractions. These places really do underline what kind of things you might find in Tunisia and the originality that comes with that.

Kairouan, Matmata & the Ksour…

The kairouan is probably not visited often enough by travellers and this is a real shame. This is ridiculous as this is considered the fourth most important city for Muslims, and the sights you’ll see throughout this city show just how much effort has gone into making this city special. If you like exploring different history and culture then this is definitely somewhere you have to visit.

Matmata and the Ksour is a superb place to visit, there simply is nowhere like this at all. Scenes of the star wars franchise were filmed here; and this of course means it attracts thousands of star wars fans each year. However, this place isn’t just known for that; the aesthetics are brilliant and you can even go underground to see more; this gives visitors the feeling of stepping back in time by hundreds of years.

Love Unique Places? We Have The Place For You!

It Doesn't Get More Original Than Mauritius! Everything about this place holds its own value. We can guarantee you’ll never manage to find somewhere with more natural style. The whole vibe from this place is like no other. And whilst it might sound cliché, you really will not get to experience anywhere else like this place.

Mauritius boasts many things which make it extremely individual; the people, you’ll meet the food you’ll eat, the music you’ll hear at the festivals, the emphasis on romance, and the scenery. Every possible thing you could do throughout your day will be different to how you’d usually do things.

So if you’re looking for somewhere like this, then you won’t find it. There is no place like this. Therefore, if you want to find out more just simply carry on reading.

The Culture  is shown best through locals and the food

The People…

Culture is a strange thing. We’re all human, we all look extremely similar in general terms, we even do the same things, however, we’re all completely different. Through the things we like, our opinions, the way we do things. Whether it be how we walk, or how we write; everyone has their own unique style.

This is what makes things great when going abroad; you won’t find people who are more different than us out of Mauritius. This is great, as it means when mixing with the locals you’ll experience the most amazing things and meet the most amazing people. It really is something you’ll find difficult to forget.

The Food…

Wherever you go in the world food is prepared and made in a completely new way. Even if you were to have a lasagne in England and then have one in Italy; it would taste differently. With this said; one thing you’ll find evident during your stay in Mauritius, is that every dish is almost the opposite of what you’d be likely to find in England. There are numerous cuisines, and thanks to this, the ethnic mix of food is more diverse than anything. It is hard to say what style of food is most commonly found in Mauritius, as there are multiple kinds. Overall, if you want a different feel to your food every time you sit down to eat then Mauritius is the place for you.

Music, Festivals, Beautiful Scenery and Romance

Music & Festivals…

The festivals here, as you’d expect, are full of life and simply cannot be matched elsewhere. The music is loud, everyone is in good spirits, the people are dressed extravagantly, and faces full of fun make up. The entire occasion is based upon having fun and not caring about anything momentarily. It is a great excuse to really let loose and do whatever you like (within reason) for a few days.

The music really does compliment the festivals; but there is more to the music than just the festival. Mauritius has its own Sega sound with roots right back to the 18th century.

In a modern Mauritius; African and creole sounds mix together to make something exceptional.  If you like your music, whatever genre you might prefer, you’ll certainly appreciate the music at your disposal in Mauritius.

Scenery & Romance…

Looking for a perfect location for a honeymoon? Then with Mauritius in mind you’ve found the perfect place. This country really does hold its own when it comes to beautiful scenery. The aesthetics really are spectacular throughout and you’ll easily ‘set the scene’ for a special time to spend with your new wife or husband.

Mauritius is a tropical paradise and looks like somewhere you’d usually only ever see in the films. White sand, turquoise seas, coral reefs, sugar plantations, extinct volcanoes; Mauritius won  the world’s leading beach and island destination  in The World Travel Awards 2011. This really was well deserved and underlines just why it is a must that you visit this place.

Dominican Republic Has Something For Everyone!

Choosing your holiday destination can often prove to be very stressful and sometimes it puts you off going on a holiday altogether. Trying to please everyone who is going can be extremely difficult. Accommodation

This is possibly the most important aspect of any holiday. If you are not happy with your hotel, apartment, villa etc. this is certain to put a downer on the rest of the holiday!

Most accommodation available in the Dominican Republic tends to be of the highest quality – with the majority coming with a pool and sea view! We recommend checking a resort out on the internet before confirming a booking.

Salto El Limón

There are only a few times in life where you can confidentially say you’ve experienced something completely and utterly new. We are confident that this will be the case if you visit Dominican Republic!

We highly recommend going on the many trails available – one of the most popular is the one where you get to see an impressive waterfall – many cannot resist buy to jump in to the cooling waters!

Whilst you will be venturing through the jungle-like wilderness and experiencing nature to the absolute extreme, you will also be greeted with a restaurant located right at the entrance at the beginning of the trail; which makes for an ideal place to eat after you have enjoyed a swim in the Salto El Limon.
