Dougga & The El Djem…

The kairouan is probably not visited often enough by travellers and this is a real shame. Matmata and the Ksour is a superb place to visit, there simply is nowhere like this at all. Scenes of the star wars franchise were filmed here; and this of course means it attracts thousands of star wars fans each year. However, this place isn’t just known for that; the aesthetics are brilliant and you can even go underground to see more; this gives visitors the feeling of stepping back in time by hundreds of years.
