Party Animal or Explorer?

We all know how difficult it is to choose a holiday destination; especially with so many countries having several different islands, how can you know which one to choose without a nights worth of research?! As Spain is one of the most popular holiday destinations visited by UK citizens, we have dived into the top 4 Spanish islands to help you see which is most suited to you!

Ibiza - The Party Animal

If you like your holiday to be one endless party, then Ibiza it is!  Ibiza is famous for being Europe’s biggest summer party playgrounds and its association with electronic music which originated on the island. Some of the famous clubs include Pacha, Keeper and Ibiza rocks, not forgetting the big Radio 1 Ibiza weekends! When you can bare to face the sun, you can do it in style by booking out a sun bed lounger on Ocean’s beach Ibiza. If you like to do something a little more than just party and sun bathe then you’re in luck as Ibiza has a stunning coastline which looks onto the Mediterranean Sea - perfect for a stroll. You can also walk around the carnival-style markets and pick up some fresh foods, accessories and handicrafts.

One for the explorers. If you're the type of person who can’t sit still, even on holiday then Gran Canaria is where you should go! It’s the second most popular Spanish island, described as a miniature continent. It is seen as a rare Canary Island due to its incredible variety of landscapes and microclimates. You can enjoy the exciting city life especially in the capital, Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, which has a dynamic centre where you can find a multitude of activities such as visiting the fishing villages, water parks, restaurants and discovering the urban attractions of Las Palmas. If you fancy a day by the beach you are sure to find space along the 60 km of beaches which Gran Canaria has to offer.
